Marmaduke Trip To Little Rock
By Anna Oliver
Mr. Cook’s 10-12 grade classes and Mr. Gardener’s ALE classes took a trip to Little Rock April 9, to the Camp Robinson Army Base. There are many students in the classes who are interested in the military. They visited the National Armory Museum and took a tour of the airstrip and got the chance to go to the area where the helicopters are being worked on. The class was fortunate enough to see the Black Hawk and a couple of other well known helicopters from the military.
“I see the military from a whole different point of view now,” stated Sophomore Mallory Stovall. The tour guides informed the students about all aspects of the military from both positive and negative point of views.
“I had a lot of fun. I’m glad I have learned so much more about the military,” Jacob Joshlin said. “I look at it from a whole different perspective now.” The majority of the class had different opinions about the military after going to the museum. It was a very educational and fun trip for anyone that went.
