FBLA Trip
By Whitney Morris
Marmaduke High School FBLA took nine students to Black River Technical College in Pocahontas so that the students could take a practice test to prepare them for district meeting. The students took a tour of the campus and learned about the different degrees that BRTC offers.
“I feel more educated about the college I want to go to and also more prepared to compete at state,” Sophomore Jordan Agee said. BRTC also held practice tests for the FBLA state conference that is coming up at the end of January.
“I learned that the test is going to be hard and that I might like to get my basics at BRTC,” Junior Andy Brannon said. Black River Technical College has much to offer and some Marmaduke students are glad to be able to take such opportunities to learn about college and what their future might hold.
“I learned about the many technical programs BRTC offers, as well as financial aid options,” Junior Silver Dollar stated. These students will now be prepared and will possibly advance to state by attending this event.
