Jr. Beta Initiation

On April 1, the Junior Beta club had its Initiation, welcoming seventeen new members to join the thirty original members. The new members are: Shelby Blackburn, Aaron Church, Jalisa Damron, Jodie Davis, Noah Hickson, Allison Hampton, Amber Howard, Zachary Jackson, Erica Lewis, Nathan Littleton, Hannah Muse, Madison Nelson, Madison Price, Ashlyn Raines, Alex Richey, Hayden Winberry, and Kailee Wrather.The original members are: Jessica Boggs, Kelsey Campbell, Samantha Dodd, Seth Farmer, Joseph Hargrave, Nathan Hickson, Savannah Huckabay, Alexus Jones, Jessica Lee, Dakota Matheny, Leah Morris, Alex Page, Amber Pentecost, Kasey Reagans, Joshua Richey, Caitlin Robinson, Ashley Russom, Bree Upchurch, Rachel Vangilder, Amber Wheat, Chase Adams, Elijah Carter, Cody Crow, Ali Hoffman, Leah Holaway, Kelly Lewis, Hannah Long, Hannah Speer, Tiffany Traywick, and Sierra Vangilder. The club had a delightful ceremony and a very nice reception in the FACS center afterwards.

Junior Beta is made up of students who are honored for their hard work and good grades. To be initiated into Junior Beta, you must have a 3.0 grade point average, and good behavior.
New member, Erica Lewis said, “Junior Beta has taught me to have good citizenship, to try harder to make better grades, and help other kids out.”
“Being in Junior Beta makes me want to try harder,” said Shelby Blackburn.
Hopefully the program had a positive effect on the upcoming seventh graders, to make them try harder to have good grades to be able to be in Junior Beta this upcoming year.
